Obama party in Nashville this Saturday, hosted by wise wise women

Two of my best girls in Nashville are stepping up for Senator Obama this Sunday. If you'd like to bring your cell phone along and join in the fun and yummy food, read on for details.
Mama Tish, aka Tish Owen, aka the Big Boss of the Pagan Unity Festival, is opening the doors of Goddess & the Moon Cafe for a MoveOn.org Obama Calling Party to help out Senator Obama's campaign. On *Sunday, September 21, 2008*,
interested Nashville-area folks can come by the shop - for thirty minutes or three hours - and help us contact voters in swing states to help them sign up to volunteer for Obama. As an additional plus, we're going to attempt to
obtain voter registration forms (although we're checking with the Election Commissioner just to be sure) as well as put together carpool contacts for volunteers to drive to and from the polls on Election Day.
*Calling Party is 9/21/2008 2:00 - 5:00 PM. *(Cafe opens 10 AM-2PM for brunch, so come early if you wish). The Goddess & The Moon is located at 603 Eighth Avenue South, Nashville, TN, and you can reach Mama Tish by phone at

If you're in or around Nashville and would like to come donate some free weekend minutes and time to our party, we sincerely hope that you will join us in this effort. We will be calling MoveOn.org members in swing states to encourage them to sign up to volunteer for Obama, using lists provided by MoveOn.
Voter registration sign-ups and sign-ups to drive people to the polls on Election Day will be available.
If you wish to attend, please bring a fully charged cell phone. Drinks & snacks will be available from the café.
